In electrical systems, switchgear plays a crucial role. Its installation requirements not only affect the safe operation of equipment but also directly impact the reliability of the entire power network.
Switchgear should be installed in a dry, easily accessible location, at a height of 1.5 meters for easy operation. It should be avoided in humid, steamy, or corrosive environments. It is generally recommended to install it behind the main entrance or above a shoe cabinet near the entrance, in an easily accessible switch position.
When selecting wire cross-sections for lighting and heating loads, ensure that the safe current-carrying capacity of the conductors is greater than the sum of the rated currents of all appliances in that branch circuit. Simultaneously, the capacity of each branch circuit must not exceed the carrying capacity of the incoming power line.
