Human-Machine Interface (HMI) Functions: The control cabinet can be connected to an external touchscreen (HMI) or configuration software, allowing operators to:
Set and modify production parameters (e.g., temperature setpoint, operating speed);
Real-time monitoring of equipment operating status (e.g., motor operating status, sensor values, process progress);
Display and recording of fault information (e.g., fault codes, occurrence time).
Data Communication and Networking Functions: Through communication protocols such as Ethernet, RS485/RS232, PROFINET, and Modbus, the PLC control cabinet can interconnect with other devices:
Device-level networking: Communicates with frequency converters, servo drives, smart meters, etc., to achieve distributed control;
System-level networking: Interacts with host computers (industrial control computers), MES systems, and ERP systems to upload production data, receive scheduling instructions, and build an intelligent production management system.
The remote monitoring and debugging function, equipped with a control cabinet featuring remote modules (such as 4G/5G modules and industrial IoT gateways), supports remote monitoring, remote parameter modification, and remote program download and debugging. Equipment maintenance can be completed without on-site personnel, reducing operation and maintenance costs.
The alarm and recording function triggers audible and visual alarms when the system malfunctions or parameters exceed limits. Simultaneously, it automatically records the fault type, occurrence time, and parameter status at the time of the fault, facilitating subsequent troubleshooting and production analysis.
