1. Flexible Ring Network Power Supply Capability, Enhancing Power Supply Reliability

A major technical advantage of cable branch boxes is their ability to construct a ring network power supply structure. Multiple cables can be connected into a ring through the ring network incoming and outgoing line units within the box. When a power source or cable fails, the fault point can be isolated through operation (usually manual), and power can be restored to the non-faulty area from another power source. Compared to switch stations with complex circuit breakers and protection devices, cable branch boxes have a relatively simple internal structure, mainly consisting of busbars and connecting components (such as touchable cable heads and insulators). This means:

Low Maintenance Workload: Routine maintenance mainly focuses on checking the box's sealing, grounding, and whether the cable heads are overheating, making operation simple.

Flexible Expansion: The box typically has several spare circuit interfaces. When new loads need to be connected, there is no need for large-scale modifications to the existing equipment. Expansion can be completed simply by installing new cable plugs on the spare interfaces using special tools, adapting to the ever-growing electricity demands of cities.
